RACHEL LASRY
ABOUT

The short version: I've been doing this my whole career. Now I do it for you.

THE FULL STORY

I didn't plan a career in real estate.

I was in college, needed a side job, and started doing data entry at Eastern Union, a commercial mortgage company. I figured it was temporary.

It wasn't. I fell in love with the work. Underwriting, closings, deal structure. I dropped out of college because I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

I joined a development and investment company called Alliven to run their development projects start to finish. My mortgage background meant I could underwrite deals and secure construction financing myself, which gave the company a speed and confidence they didn't have before. Over time I took on more: investor relations, design decisions, site visits, sales calls, budget oversight. I was eventually named COO, but the title mostly caught up to what I was already doing.

I scaled the equity investment side from 3 deals a year to 50 at its peak. At any given time I was managing 10+ projects across residential and commercial: townhome developments, office buildings, wedding halls, single-family lots. Over 400 residential units from concept to completion. Project budgets up to $35 million.

I left because the business slowed down and I thrive in a busy environment. As soon as I finished my last project, I was ready to go out on my own.

MORE THAN THE BUILD

Real estate projects move on relationships, communication, and trust.

That's something I learned early.

A big part of my career was spent as the central point of contact between everyone involved in a deal: high-net-worth investors and family offices from the U.S. and abroad, sponsors, lenders, legal teams, brokers, and consultants. I was the person everyone called. I represented ownership in investor meetings and site tours, coordinated legal documentation with attorneys, and worked with lenders through the full financing process.

That kind of work teaches you how to bring clarity to complicated situations, keep people aligned when stakes are high, and do it all smoothly, patiently, and with genuine care.

Those relationships were built over years, and I bring that same approach to every project I take on now.

HOW I WORK

Direct, easygoing, and focused on getting things done.

The people I've worked with would tell you I'm pleasant but I don't let things slide.

When I take on a project, the first thing I do is meet with the owner in person. I want to understand their goals, what's most important, and how much involvement they want. If they've already hired a team, I meet everyone and figure out how to make the whole thing run better.

From there, the pressure shifts to me. I only bring decisions to the owner once I'm fully clear and usually have a recommendation ready. Some clients want to know everything. Others want a weekly email. I adapt.

I'm selective about what I take on because when I'm in, I'm all in. Every project I take on, I treat as though it's my own. I push back when something isn't right. I stay until the last detail is done.

READY TO TALK?

I'd love to hear about your project.

Still planning or already mid-build, tell me what you're working on. If it's the right fit, we'll move quickly.
